PowerPoint to PDF
PPTX, PPT and ODP to PDF. Your files are never uploaded to a server.
.pptx · .ppt · .odp · Free · No sign-up · No size limit
Convert a deck to PDF and the fonts and layout stay the same on any device you open it on. It is the surest way to prevent the mishap of a deck breaking because your fonts are missing on the venue computer, and it also works well as a print-ready handout.
The moatool converter never uploads your document. A real office engine runs inside your browser to build the PDF, so even sensitive files stay on your device and there is no size limit.
How to convert PowerPoint to PDF
When you convert a presentation (PPTX, PPT, ODP) to PDF, each slide is fixed as one page, so you can distribute, print and submit it with no broken fonts.
How to convert
- Click Open converter above to open the office converter. The conversion engine (LibreOffice) gets ready once in the background the first time.
- Drag a PowerPoint file (.pptx, .ppt, .odp) in, or pick it with Choose file. The file is not uploaded — it stays inside your browser.
- Press Convert to PDF and it is built right on your device and saved. From the second time on, the engine is cached and starts instantly.
When to use it
Tip Since a PDF is a still document, animations and transitions are dropped and the final view of each slide is captured. Speaker notes are not included.

Frequently asked questions
What happens to animations?
Since a PDF is a still document, animations and screen transitions are not included. The final state of each slide is saved as one page.
Are speaker notes included?
Only the slides are saved. If you need the notes, save it as a handout in PowerPoint first, then convert.
Does Keynote work too?
Some files open depending on the file, but it is not officially supported. Exporting to PPTX from Keynote first and then converting is more reliable.
Is there a file size limit?
No. Because nothing is uploaded to a server there is no upload cap; the only limit is your device memory.
Why is the first run slow?
The office engine is downloaded once the first time. After that it starts right away — you are downloading the engine, not sending your document.
Does my file go to a server?
No. A real office engine runs inside your browser to make the PDF, so contracts and HR files stay on your device.
