Merge PDF
Combine several PDFs into a single file, in the order you choose. Your files are never uploaded.
0 B uploaded — this page has not sent your files anywhere?
Other conversion sites upload your file to a server, process it there, and say they delete it after a while. Until that happens, your file sits on someone else’s server. Here there is no upload step at all. The more sensitive the file — contracts, ID scans, medical records — the more that difference matters. See how to verify it →
Combine several PDFs into one file, in exactly the order you want
Job portals, visa applications and expense systems often accept a single file only. This tool joins any number of PDFs end to end, in the order shown in the list, and saves one new PDF. The work happens inside your browser, so none of the files are uploaded.
A closer look
Merging does not turn pages into pictures. A new document is created and every page of every file is copied into it as it is, so text stays selectable and searchable, print quality is unchanged, and a mix of page sizes such as A4 and US Letter keeps each page’s own dimensions. What merging does not do is shrink anything: the fonts and images inside each file travel along with their pages, so the result is usually about the sum of the inputs. If that total is over a portal’s limit, run the merged file through Compress PDF afterwards.
Pages come across, but things that belong to a document as a whole do not. Bookmarks (the outline panel in your viewer) from the original files are dropped, and the new file does not inherit the originals’ title or author fields. Fillable forms may stop behaving like forms once merged, so fill them in and save first, then combine. There is no cap on how many files you add, but every one of them is read into your device’s memory, so several hundred megabytes at once can make a phone sluggish.
How to use it
- Drag PDFs onto the drop area or press Choose files. You can add more in several rounds; each batch is appended to the end of the list, and anything that is not a PDF is skipped.
- The number at the left of each row is its position in the final file. Use ↑ and ↓ to move a file, and ✕ to remove one you added by mistake.
- Once at least two files are listed, Merge PDFs becomes active. Press it and the status line shows progress such as “Processing… (2/5)” followed by the file name.
- When it finishes, a file named “merged.pdf” downloads and the message shows its size. The list stays in place, so you can reorder and merge again if needed.

Common snags
Tip Before you submit, open the merged file and look at the first page and at each point where one source file ends and the next begins. If something is out of place, the list is still there: fix the order and press Merge PDFs again.
How to merge PDF files
How does it work?
1) Pick or drag in your PDF files. 2) Use the ↑↓ buttons to put them in the right order. 3) Press "Merge PDFs" and the combined file downloads automatically.
How many files can I combine?
There is no limit on the number of files. Very large or very numerous PDFs may simply take a moment, depending on how fast your device is.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly — remove the password first with our Unlock PDF tool, then merge the unlocked files.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. The merge runs in JavaScript inside your own browser, so contracts, invoices and personal records never travel over the network. You can even disconnect from the internet and it still works.
